Privacy policy
Roundlark has no accounts and no sign-up forms. This page explains the little that does happen.
Who is responsible
Roundlark (roundlark.com) is published by Luis Alberto Najar Isidro, Spain, who is the data controller. Contact: hello@roundlark.com.
What we do not collect
- We have no user accounts, comments or newsletter.
- The names you type into the team maker are processed in your browser. They are never sent to us or stored.
- Your answers in the game picker and the charades generator also stay in your browser.
- Site search runs in your browser against an index stored on our own domain. Your searches are not sent to a third party.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data needed to deliver pages and protect the service, including your IP address, browser type and the page requested. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are useful. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics storage is off by default and is only switched on if you agree in the consent message. Google may process this data in the United States. See Google’s privacy policy.
Advertising
Roundlark is set up to be funded by ads served by Google AdSense. No ads are running at the moment. When they are, Google and its partners will use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads; visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland will be asked for consent first through a Google-certified consent message.
You can learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can turn off personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com.
If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to reply and to keep a record of the correction or request. We do not add you to any list.
Legal bases
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies: delivering and securing the site rests on our legitimate interest in running it; analytics and advertising cookies rest on your consent; replying to your email rests on our legitimate interest in answering you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to its use, and to complain to your data protection authority. California residents can ask what personal information is collected and ask for it to be deleted; we do not sell personal information. To use any of these rights, write to hello@roundlark.com.
Children
Roundlark is written for the adults and older children who organize games. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes
If what we do changes, we update this page and its date before the change takes effect.
